What is PaxBUD Project?

PaxBUD is a new Project at the J.B. Priestley Library, University of Bradford. It is an essential part of the PaxCat Programme. PaxCat 1, currently in progress, is cataloguing the Commonweal Peace Archives, part of Special Collections at the University. We then hope to bring these important archives to wider audiences via digitisation and outreach projects. PaxBUD will give us the skills, equipment and methods to do so effectively.

We are currently bidding for funding from JISC, an organisation which supports innovative IT in universities. We should hear whether we have been successful later this summer.
